Doors2Floors is our own brand: doors, panels and flooring bought direct and sold without a middle margin. The range is deliberately narrow and focused on the sizes and finishes that sell in volume, which is what keeps the prices below the equivalent branded leaf.

What we make under our own name

The own-brand line-up covers internal doors, external doors, wall panelling, acoustic wall panels and laminate flooring, plus the fixings and trims in D2F accessories.

The Doors2Floors own range

This is our own label, and it exists for one reason: to put the same specification of door and hardware on the shelf at a lower price than the equivalent branded line. The doors in the range are engineered with a solid core rather than hollow, and they are made in the finishes that actually sell in UK homes, so a whole house can be done from one range.

What is in the range

Internally the doors cover oak, white primed, grey, black and walnut finishes, in both glazed and unglazed versions. Rated leaves in the same styles sit in fire doors, which is what lets a landing keep one look while the openings that need a rating get one. There are also accessories, so handles, hinges and latches can come from the same order.

Reading the codes

Codes in this range follow the same logic as the branded doors: the leading number is the leaf thickness in millimetres, so a code beginning 35 is a standard internal door and a code beginning 45 is a fire door blank. The letters after it describe the range and the finish.

Fitting and finishing

Prefinished leaves from fully finished internal doors are sealed on all six faces and can be hung and left. Unfinished leaves must be sealed on every face, including the top and bottom edges, before use, or they will move with the moisture in the room: see how to stop doors swelling and sticking. Is an own-label door lower quality?
