Acoustic Wall Panels

Acoustic panels are slatted timber over a felt or foam backing. The slats break up and absorb reflected sound instead of letting it bounce off a hard wall, which is why they have become standard in home offices, media rooms, studios and any open plan space that echoes.

How much coverage you need

You do not have to panel the whole room. Treating one reflective wall, usually the one opposite the speaker or the microphone, removes most of the flutter echo. Panels are also a decorative finish in their own right, so plan the bay widths before ordering.
