D2F Accessories

D2F Accessories is our own-label range of the fixings and finishing parts a door installation needs after the leaf and the handle: latches, bolts, seals, strips, packs and trims. Because they are stocked in-house they ship alongside the door rather than arriving separately days later.

What to add to a door order

Most installations need a latch, three hinges, a stop and the right screws. See magnetic latches, flush bolts, door stops and complete handle packs.

Fire rated openings additionally need intumescent strips and pads matched to the leaf. Trim and joinery items are listed in door architraves and skirting, and the full hardware category is door hardware, and the rest of our own-brand range is in Doors2Floors.

The D2F Accessories range

D2F Accessories is our own hardware range, put together to cover the parts a normal UK doorway actually needs rather than a catalogue of everything. It is the range to look at when you want one finish across a whole house without paying for a specifier-level brand. The parts sit in the same categories as everything else: handles, handles on back plate, knobs, hinges, locks and latches and escutcheons.

Packs versus individual parts

Several items in this range are sold as packs, which is worth understanding before ordering. A handle set is the pair of handles only. A handle pack adds the latch and three hinges, which is what a standard internal door needs. A bathroom pack adds the turn and release. A bedroom pack adds a key lock instead. Finishes and pairing

Matt black and knurled finishes in this range pair strongly with black internal doors and with white primed doors. Copper and brass finishes warm up oak internal doors. Whichever you choose, buy the hinges and escutcheons in the same finish at the same time, because those are the two parts most often forgotten.

Can D2F hardware be used on a fire door?

The handle and latch generally can, but the hinges must be rated. On any fire door use fire rated hinges with intumescent strips and pads.

How does it compare with the named brands?
